At Aurora Family Dental, we custom-make plastic trays to straighten your teeth gradually and comfortably. Our doctors will take a 3D scan of your teeth to create a series of molds that you will wear for 2 weeks each, and over a period of 9-18 months, your smile will be transformed into the smile that you’ve always dreamed of without the need for wire-and-bracket braces.

Is cosmetic dentistry worth it?

It’s important to understand that the entire purpose of Esthetic Dentistry is to improve the appearance of your smile. Most patients tell us their beautiful new smiles have brightened their lives professionally and socially.

Do I really need esthetic dentistry?

In some circumstances, cosmetic dentistry isn’t necessary. When you visit our practice we will provide you with an accurate, honest diagnosis. If you don’t actually need esthetic dental treatment we won’t try and push you into getting it.

Will my insurance cover the cost of cosmetic dentistry?

Our wonderful staff will work with you to see if your insurance company will cover your cosmetic procedures. If for any reason it’s not covered, we will let you know and will work with you to develop a financial plan if needed. Our patients often tell us that it’s completely worth the investment of their time and money to improve the appearance of their smile.

Are there payment options available?

General Dentists

Dr. Scott Lyke and Dr. Jaimie Lyke both hold doctorates from the prestigious Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. Our doctors have completed extensive postdoctoral studies in cosmetic dentistry, treatment planning, and implant dentistry, and their compassionate chairside manner is enhanced by the fact that they enjoy meeting people.

When not in the office, Drs. Scott and Jaimie Lyke enjoy spending time with their family and friends in the outdoors. Their hobbies include playing volleyball, cross country skiing, and hiking.

Dr. Ryan Ersland attained his dental degree at Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. He stays up to date with continuing education and has competed for multiple courses at the Spear Institute. He is an Anchorage dentist that focuses on assisting his patients in achieving comfortable and great-looking smiles in a relaxed atmosphere.
